FRANKLIN, Ind. – After consulting with the Johnson County Health Department officials, Franklin Community Schools (FCS) has decided to continue to follow the CDC’s previous guidance and insist on a 14-day quarantine period for students, teachers, and staff members who have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
The CDC recently offered alternative options to their recommended guidelines. However, FCS and county health officials say that a 14-day quarantine is still the safest option.
